The Fanfic Chronicles

Fanfiction Is the New Mythology
Where women, legends, and love are rewritten across worlds.
Alternate tagline options (if you want variations later): - Rewriting canon. Reclaiming myth. Centring women. - Femslash, friendship, and folklore for modern fandoms. - Legends reborn through women’s stories.
Mission Statement
The Fanfic Chronicles exists to celebrate femslash, women-centred friendships, and transformative storytelling across all fandoms—horror, sci-fi, fantasy, crime drama, anime, soap opera, superheroes, and beyond.
We believe fanfiction is the modern continuation of mythmaking. Just as ancient storytellers reshaped legends to reflect their values, today’s writers reimagine canon to centre voices, relationships, and possibilities often left unexplored.
This blog supports creative freedom, respectful transformation of source material, and inclusive storytelling. Through essays, analysis, guides, and original short fiction, The Fanfic Chronicles honours fanfiction as both an art form and a cultural force.
About the Blog
The Fanfic Chronicles is a multi-fandom blog dedicated to femslash and meaningful female relationships—romantic and platonic—told through the lens of modern mythology.
Here you’ll find: - Thoughtful essays on fandom, tropes, and storytelling - Writing guides for fanfiction creators - Deep dives into characters and relationships across genres - Original short fanfiction (PG-13 to TV-MA, clearly labeled) - Discussions of ethics, canon, and transformative works
We approach fandom with respect: for creators, for fellow fans, and for the shared worlds we love. This is a space for imagination, reflection, and bold re-envisioning—without gatekeeping.
Whether you’re a longtime fanfic writer or a curious reader, you’re welcome here.
